While we’ve fallen in love with Paris, and soaked up the sun on the French Riviera, our favourite French destinations aren’t the typical first stops on the tourist trail. Here are our top five cities in France, to inspire your own French holiday.
Our mission is to get expats and Belgians alike to discover as much of Belgium as possible, so when we were asked to explore a corner of Brussels with a local, we jumped at the chance. Despite the chilly weather, we spent an interesting afternoon learning all about Molenbeek courtesy of the Brussels Greeters.
There’s no doubt, Paris is a beautiful city, filled with incredible photographic possibilities. I’ve taken photos on all of our trips to Paris. But it wasn’t until my last visit, that I actually had time to photograph the city and some of its landmarks in a way I felt captured the essence of Paris.

We have loads of food options in Brussels. I’ve fallen in love with cuisines I had never even tasted before settling in Belgium. But still, there is no decent Mexican restaurant in Brussels. If we want a nice, sit-down dinner of incredible Mexican food, we need to drive to Amsterdam. We NEED Los Pilones.
