While we can’t bring all of your loved-ones to Belgium, we can help you send a little bit of Belgium to them. Every year, we round up our favourite Belgium gifts online, sold through global retailer Amazon. Don’t live in Belgium? Don’t worry. Why We Use Amazon
Of course, you could look for gifts to buy in Belgium and ship them abroad. But have you seen the cost of international shipping in Belgium? bpost charges €16.40+ to ship up to 5kg to adjacent countries, €32.80 for the rest of the EU (and the USA), and €65.60 to ship elsewhere! We shipped gifts our first year and then stopped. It was too expensive.
So we thought about Amazon. Amazon’s extensive catalogue and free shipping to many locations is a top choice for many people during the holidays. We use them often personally. But what sort of Belgian gift ideas are for sale on Amazon? Apparently a lot!
How to shop this list
If you click the photo of the product, it will take you to the store closest to your location (for Belgium, this will generally be France). However, we know when you ship gifts, you don’t always shop at the store closest to you, so below the photo, you’ll find the direct link to the UK, US, and French stores if the product is available. Keep in mind, not all Amazon stores carry all of the same products. Particularly when it comes to things like Belgian beer gift packs and Belgian chocolate gift baskets, particular options are only available in one store.

Belgian Beer Gifts
What would a Belgian gift list be without beer? I highly recommend the Good Beer Guide and All Belgian Beers books. They are both on my bookshelf, and I use them frequently to better understand Belgian beer. I’ve also highlighted the Kwak beer glass as its unique design makes it my favourite Belgian beer glass. And honestly, who doesn’t want to receive a Belgian beer gift box?
Apologies to our American readers, Amazon US doesn’t ship beer. I know! It’s a sad state of affairs. However, they do have beer… soap! You’ll smell nice and have beer. It’s win-win, yes!? The reviews all seem positive about it. Please don’t try to melt it down and drink it though. Final thought: if you washed someone’s mouth out with this soap, would it be a good or a bad thing?

Know a Belgian? For such a small country, we are constantly amazed at how often we run into Belgians around the world. Of course, you can send gifts to Belgium with Amazon as well. You can buy a Belgian many of the products listed above, but for some, it’s just impossible to find the right gift. My recommendation is to appeal to their subtle humour and patriotism.
