iDBUS destinations in Europe

Here at CheeseWeb, there are a few things we love: Belgium, Travel, and YOU, our readers. So today we have something that includes all of our favourite things. We’re giving you the chance to travel from Brussels to France – for free!

The kind folks at iDBUS are offering 3 lucky readers a pair of tickets to travel from Brussels to Paris OR Brussels to Lille on one of their luxury coaches. Read on to the end of the post to enter.

iDBUS is a coach service, operated by SNCF, which links major European cities. They aim to be more sustainable and comfortable than long distance car travel.

Each bus seats 48 passengers offering 84 cm of leg room between each row. The seats are adjustable and each has a reading light, table and adjustable air vent. Best of all, the coaches are Wifi enabled, so you can surf the internet for free while you travel. Each row of seats even has an electrical socket so you don’t have to worry about your battery wearing out on a long journey.

While you travel, you can follow your journey in real time on the TV screens, so you always know how far you are from your destination.

Unlike many low-cost airlines, iDBUS prices are permanent, (mini prices at 25€ up to €45 from Brussels to Paris) so you don’t have to worry about the price going up on a last-minute booking. The price of the ticket depends on when you travel, not when you make your reservation. Prices also include one item of luggage and one carry-on bag, so there are no hidden costs. Better yet, there are discounts for group bookings. Friends and families, listen up – If 3 people book together, the fourth is free!

Bus drivers are bilingual (English and French). In addition, all of the buses are accessible for wheelchairs and people with limited mobility.

So where can you go on an iDBUS? Currently destinations include: London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lille, Paris, Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Nice, Gênes, Turin and Milan.

Your coach awaits!

What a great opportunity, Alison! Who wouldn’t want to go to Paris, especially if you don’t have to drive yourself. Champagne, anyone? 🙂

It would be really great that I can travel with iDBUS again to visit Paris. I am a student and I spend all my holidays in Brussels, only because all my friends were gone.
I would take advantage to see my family, my friends, visit some historical sites and enjoy the French cuisine.
If you want to make someone extremely happy, then offer me this trip.
And i Promise make photos of my trip and share it with you. 🙂

    Thank you in advance

IDBus is good but wifi doesn’t work properly and prices have increased a lot since last year, it used to be 19 eur to go to Paris.
