United States of America

We’ve both traveled in the United States extensively over the years, both together and on our own. We both have childhood memories of family holidays ‘across the border.’ Andrew made a number of family trips to Florida, packed in a car with his brother and sister. Alison travelled all over the USA with her parents and Grandma in a big, old motorhome (now you know where our inspiration comes from) and by the time she was in her teens, had visited all but four continental states.

Together, we honeymooned in the States, tenting our way down to Pennsylvania. We’ve visited California, Las Vegas, and Florida together, on numerous occasions, and we’ve stood in awe at the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks. The United States are virtually made for exploring by motorhome, and slow travelling through the back roads of the USA is definitely on our bucket list.
