What is The CheeseWeb Escapes Ezine?

The CheeseWeb Escapes Ezine is our monthly(ish) newsletter. We love to travel – whether in Belgium or beyond. We want to share that passion for travel with you, in our series of local guides.

Each month, we focus on one travel destination that is in, or easy to get to from, Belgium. These are places you can go for day-trips, weekend getaways or longer holidays.

We’ve compiled some content from past CheeseWeb posts and included lots of brand new content you won’t find on the blog. We include sights to see, places to eat and sometimes even places to stay. From time to time, we also include some special promotions exclusive to subscribers.

In addition, everyone who signs up to receive CheeseWeb Escapes, gets access to an archive of all of our past editions. We convert these into a handy PDF format, so you can print them out or read them on your favourite e-reader and take them with you when you travel.

How is CheeseWeb Escapes different from any other travel guide?

Rather than just listing places you could go, like many guidebooks and websites, every place in CheeseWeb Escapes is somewhere we have actually visited and enjoyed. We all like getting recommendations from our friends, and we hope this is what CheeseWeb Escapes will be for you – good advice from your friends at CheeseWeb.

I don’t live in Belgium. Will it still be useful to me?

You don’t have to live in Belgium to find CheeseWeb Escapes useful. We’ll try to balance Belgian travel destinations with other travel destinations in Europe. Plus, we think Belgium is great and we want to encourage you to visit us someday!

How much does it cost?

CheeseWeb Escapes is totally free. From time to time we will offer special promotions from some of the businesses we recommend and we hope to offer our own products down the road as well. There will never be any obligation to buy anything and we’ll never, ever sell your email details to anyone. We hate spam too!

I’m signed up to receive the blog posts by email. Do I automatically get CheeseWeb Escapes?

When you sign up, you are asked what you would like to sign up for. You can choose the CheeseWeb Escapes Ezine or blog posts or both – Just make sure you check the correct box(es).

Do I have to sign up for the blog posts to get the newsletter?

Nope, you can choose either one or both.

I thought I signed up for the Newsletter but I didn’t get it, how come?

First, check your spam folder. If you don’t see CheeseWeb Escapes hiding out there, drop me an email and I can check to see if you’re on the list and add you if you aren’t.
