Wandering Educators: A Great Travel Resource

Wandering Educators Editor

About a month ago, I discovered a great resource for anyone who loves reading about travel (and I think that applies to most of us here). The Wandering Educators (WE) is a community of travelers who want to share their travel experiences and discoveries with others.

In their own words, WE is:  a resource for discovering extraordinary travel destinations, fascinating people, and global artists and photographers, among our many published articles.  As well, WanderingEducators.com is the largest source of travel guide reviews on the internet.

From that description I think you can see why this site appeals to me so much.

In addition, there is a huge database of jobs, internships and conferences around the world.

What makes WE so special though, is the community of editors. There are over 35 contributing editors from around the world. They have different backgrounds, interests and specialties but they share a passion for travel.

I am thrilled to now be part of the WE community as the Wandering Educators Expat Living Editor. I will be posting articles to WE that pertain to travel and expat life, similar to what I post here on CheeseWeb but brand new content.

To get a taste of what the site is all about have a wander through the homepage. You can also check out the interview I did recently with Wandering Educator Dr. Jessie Voigts – Exploring Expat Life with CheesWeb.

I hope you enjoy this great new travel resource. I know it’s given me lots of new ideas already.

Do you have a travel or expat resource you’d like to share? Leave it in the comments below or contact me directly.
