So I mentioned a while ago that I was testing out a new home for my photography. If you look to the right you’ll see a few of my images available on RedBubble. So far, RedBubble is impressing me. If it continues to go well, I may phase out my shop at Etsy. I love Etsy’s philosophy and I love to shop on the site but RedBubble is more focused on photography and wall art and those things tend to get lost in the vastness of Etsy.
One thing I like about RedBubble is the variety of ways you can sell you image (and no, I’m not talking about cheezy mugs and mousepads). This is high end art printing at not so high end prices… believe me, I’ve looked at all of the sites out there.
Currently I’m trying to add more work to RedBubble each day. The community there has be very friendly and the constructive feedback has been helpful. So please check out my RedBubble portfolio (as always, if you are looking for a particular image, just let me know). Here are some of the many ways you can by my work now:
Notecards with envelopes
Mounted Prints – These are mounted on Gator Board which is as light as foamcore but much stronger.
Laminated Prints – These are printed with a black or white border which is printed with the image title and the artist’s name.
Canvas Prints – These are printed on canvas and then wrapped over Gator Board. The has a museum print look. I am most excited about these as I’ve been wanting some images printed on canvas for a while now and I’m already planning some wall space in our new apartment for a trio of canvas prints.
Framed Prints – That’s right, pre-framed prints to take the challenge out of hunting for frames and mattes. Again, you have the choice of off-white, bright white or black mattes as well as a choice of black, charcoal, cherry, mocha, or walnut frames. Not enough choice? You even get to choose a flat or box frame – and you can pre-view it all on-line.
