Holiday Update

I thought I should do a little update since there seems to be a lot of news from the past week or so.

First of all, our bathroom is finally fixed! We have a shiny new sink with no gaping hole in the side. As there is always something wrong with that bathroom, I’m patiently awaiting the next disaster…

Second, I’ve been on a roll lately with some digital art I’ve been doing for Di. We’ll be teaming up in the New Year to offer some exciting photography and digital artworks to her clients. I plan to revamp my website over the coming weeks and Di will be launching a new one herself very soon. I’ll update you when those are ready. For now I’ll treat you to my new business card design:

Along the same lines I had some exciting (probably only to photo geeks like me) news yesterday. Adobe is launching Photoshop CS3 in the spring and there is already a BETA version available to test out. I played with it yesterday and it is fantastic as always. Now, even more than usual, I’m counting the days until spring.

In other geeky news, I caved in a bought a webcam on the weekend. My Dad’s been harassing me to get one since he installed his. While I don’t need people watching me while we chat, I did want my family to be able to see us on Christmas so maybe we wouldn’t seem quite so far away…

Finally, Christmas has arrived at the Cornford-Matheson residence. The Diva Tree is up and she has a new little sister this year – Meet the Disco Tree… That’s right; the ornaments are tiny little disco balls!
