Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to meeeeeeee, Haaaappy Biiirthday toooooo meeeeeee.
As my darling husband says, “24… again.” Yup, I’ve been 24 for a while now. It almost seems like 5 years or so. Time is a funny thing.
So far, it has been an interesting day. My Husband is in Milan, again. I got to talk to my parents last night and discuss our European Adventure (coming soon). I had an e-mail from Sue. I got to MSN Jenn who I haven’t talked to since Christmas time and Cheri finally got a hold of me on Skype (Happy b-day tomorrow biotch).
And right now, at this very moment, two lost and weary (and wet because it is Belgium after all) travelers are making their way to my house. It is a journey fraught with peril (and surly bus drivers). Who knows where they could end up (probably Kortenberg).
I’m just going to go ‘check on’ the wine now… I don’t want them to be to thirsty after their travels.

We thought the ‘surprise!!!’ element was back in your birthday party if we talked of being cold, wet and lost near some imaginary canal … as we were driven over to your place in the little blue car …

OK. Well, Now I would like to claim some responsibility for the little white lie we told… I DO like the fact that there was an element of surprise there… we should have yelled surprise.. but I think Caesar may have gotten upset at the idea that you were opening the door and people were yelling…. yeah, that’s why we didn’t say it..
